Dewey’s geoscientific research focuses on the mechanisms that control the timing, distribution, and magnitude of toxic metal concentrations in lakes. He is a professional geoscientist registered with the Nova Scotia Association of Professional Geoscientists and has authored publications in Science of the Total Environment, Environmental Science and Technology: Engineering, the Journal of Paleolimnology, FACETS, Lake and Reservoir Management, and Environmental Pollution.
